About

The test of an idea is its magnetism. A magnetic idea delivers breakthrough work. And breakthrough work delivers real results.

Scott Durday

I studied Political Science and Economics at the University of Washington while cutting my teeth outside of school in music studios around the city honing my creative skills.

After college I moved to New York City to pursue a career in music, but needing to survive I got a job in marketing and communications. So I began a parallel path of developing campaigns for large brands and then leaving the office to sink my teeth into the gritty production world of New York. Both of these paths saw success and I continued to hone a philosophy of uniting my unique creative POV through music with my traditional schooling in critical thinking and analysis.

Knowing how to make a song from scratch and watch it ignite the internet while also learning how to apply a budget to a marketing idea to propel its success across multiple genres, brands and industries led me to quickly realize that creative and strategy need to go together at all stages of work. From the earliest idea forming moments, to the execution and extensions. Through my careers, I’ve been fortunate to function across creative, strategy, public relations and account in the marketing industry to develop a body of work that speaks to my philosophy of scale, uniqueness, and multi-medium approach.
